in december of 2003, sage and the bozeman/livingston job service decided to
test the theory that employability is heavily tied to self confidence by
agreeing to a three-month pilot program during which the job service would
nominate one client per month to participate in a complimentary sage makeover.
upon receiving the makeover, we would track the participant's job seeking
success. participants received facials, brow shaping, manicures, pedicures,
haircuts and make-up applications at sage in bozeman, montana.
since the initial pilot program sage has conducted over 50 makeovers in collaboration with
the
bozeman/livingston job service, the flathead job service, the billings job service and the billings ywca.
